THE DOMAINE JACQUES ETIENNE : A TYPICAL BEAUJOLAIS VINEYARD !

Our vineyard is located on the southern hillsides of the village of Salles-Arbuissonnas en Beaujolais taking advantage of the sunshine. For generations, we ensure regular and quality production by cultivating grapes on small plots with low yields. On these steep hillsides, the work of the wine is manual.

Our main grapes varieties are "Gamay noir à jus blanc" for Beaujolais-Villages Red and Rosé wines and "Chardonnay" for Bourgogne Blanc.

Our land of granit gives our wines gererous characters : full-bodied and tannic, easy-drinking with aromas of berries. The beauolais winemaking breathes out flavors.

Our wines with good aging capacity are maturing in oak barrels for eight months and become high quality wines with aromas of red fruits.
